60 Third-Graders in the Park!

On May 14, 2025, to observe "Better World Day," 60 third-graders from Sandburg Elementary School visited the Cherokee Marsh Conservation Park, North Unit for activities: a nature scavenger hunt, pond-dipping, and trail maintenance with gravel. The event was coordinated by Sandburg teachers, Liz Just of Madison School-Community Recreation, and Linda Malkin of the Friends of Cherokee Marsh. Photos by Wendy Murkve.
