About the event
Join naturalist Mary Binkley to learn how to identify plants in winter at Cherokee Marsh. We will explore easy nature trails.
Bird & Nature Adventures are free, volunteer-led, rain-or-shine events for all ages to learn about nature. No registration is required; all are welcome. Participants are asked to dress appropriately for the weather and the outing. Binoculars and cameras are welcome. Pets are not allowed in the conservation park. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Mostly level. Mown paths, gravel trails, and metal boardwalks.
These free, all-ages walks take place the first Sunday of EVERY month, year-round, ALWAYS 1:30 pm – 3 pm.
Follow N. Sherman Avenue north to the parking area at the end of the gravel road.
