About the event

Join naturalists Mary Binkley and Sheila Leary for a free, all-ages nature walk to look at prairie flowers in bloom. Bird & Nature adventures are volunteer-led, rain-or-shine events for all ages to learn about nature. No registration is required. Participants are asked to dress appropriately for the weather and the outing. Binoculars and cameras are welcome. Pets are not allowed in the conservation park.


Mostly level, mown grass paths.

Cherokee Marsh is the largest wetland in Dane County, Wisconsin. The marsh is located just upstream from Lake Mendota, along the Yahara River and Token Creek.
