About the event

Volunteer workdays

Use hand loppers to help cut invasive brush to make room for native wildflowers, grasses, trees, and shrubs.

No experience needed. Loppers and gloves provided, bring your own if you wish. Dress for the weather. Wear closed-toed footwear. Bring drinking water.

IMPORTANT: If there is snow cover, we may instead burn brush piles at a different location, likely Cherokee Marsh - Mendota Unit. If you register for this event, we will notify you if we'll be burning instead of lopping and where to meet.
