Westport Meadows Park & Mendota Unit, 4338 Beilfuss Dr, Madison, WI 53704, USA

About the event

The recent snow cover means we can return to burning brush piles (using the snow to put them out). Also, Tuesday's forecast is very cold, and fire will help.

The work party will take place in the woods just east of Westport Meadows Park at:

4338 Beilfuss Dr

Tues, Jan 20, 9 am - 12 noon. A couple of us will likely stick around longer until the fire is totally out.

This location is west of HWY 113, near Cherokee Marsh Mendota Unit. Park on the street. We'll be burning brush we cut last year.

Wear old clothes, natural fibers are best as synthetics can easily melt.
