About the event
Help remove summer invasives such as burdock, sweet clover, and Japanese hedge parsley.
Join us this summer to remove burdock, Japanese hedge parsley, and possibly sweet clover and other invasive plants in the prairies and woods at Cherokee Marsh. We might do some early seed collecting as well.
Thurs, June 25, 9 am - 12 noon, Yahara Heights / Cherokee Marsh Natural Resource Area
We'll be using hand tools to slice burdock roots in the woods and open area.
Cherokee Marsh Natural Resource Area - Caton Ln entrance, 5440 Caton Ln, corner of Caton and Riverview Dr. Park on the street. Where there is no curb, please park on the pavement, not on the grass.
