About the event

Help pull invasive Japanese hedge parsley that is crowding out native woodland plants. We may also slice some burdock roots.


No experience needed. Bring drinking water. We will provide tools and work gloves or bring your own.


This activity involves walking off trail in an open woods. Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Long pants and long-sleeved shirt recommended. Be prepared for bugs.


Thurs, July 16, 9 am - 12 noon


Cherokee Marsh Conservation Park - Mendota Unit. Meet at 34 Knutson Dr.  Park on the street.  We'll be working about a 0.1 mile walk from the meetup location.
