Saturday Seed Collecting at Yahara Heights

We'll be collecting native prairie seeds at Yahara Heights County Park that will be used to plant additional prairie areas. This is an easy and fun activity, and you can also learn about prairies and prairie plants. It is out in the open, and you will be wandering through the prairie, so wear long pants and sturdy shoes and dress for conditions. Sun screen, bug spray, and a wide-brimmed hat may all be helpful to bring. Bring water or whatever fluids you wish to drink. Drive to the end of Caton Ln and we'll park alongside the prairie.
