About the event

Cherokee Marsh's South Unit has a long and extensive history of human alterations to the landscape. Yet, it still provides a wide variety of habitats and flourishing natural communities. We will read the land as we tour the park and discuss some of the challenges and strategies employed to restore and maintain this important natural area.

This is a rare opportunity to tour the Park with the professional conservation staff who manage it. Meet at 802 Wheeler Rd, the oil dump parking lot at the corner of Wheeler Rd. and School Rd.
