About the event

Look for birds, fungi, animal tracks, erratic boulders, frozen berries, and other cool stuff in 90 minutes of easy-paced walking, led by guide Sheila Leary. Bird & Nature adventures are free, volunteer-led, rain-or-shine events for all ages to learn about nature. No registration is required. Participants are asked to dress appropriately for the weather and the outing. Binoculars and cameras are welcome. Pets are not allowed in the conservation park.

Cherokee Marsh is the largest wetland in Dane County, Wisconsin. The marsh is located just upstream from Lake Mendota, along the Yahara River and Token Creek.
