About the event

Join naturalist Jeff Steele on this night walk to see and learn about moths and other night-flying insects. We'll walk to several prepared sites to view insects under ultraviolet light, as well as to trees smeared with moth-attracting goop. Be prepared for mosquitoes and other flying insects. A flashlight or headlamp and a mosquito-proof headnet will be helpful.

Sponsored by the Friends of Cherokee Marsh and Madison Parks. No rain date. Restrooms on site. Follow N. Sherman Ave. north to the main parking lot at the end of the gravel road, where Jeff will greet and orient attendees. Free event. No registration required.
