About the event
A private homeowner with an active bat maternity colony on their property will host us to learn about about bat reproduction and parenting, Wisconsin bats in general, and the DNR's Great Wisconsin Bat Count. We will gather at 8:30 and settle down quietly to watch moms and their nearly-grown babies emerge for the night. Registration required and limited to 15 registrants. Location information will be emailed to registrants before the event.
We will offer two more bat walks at Cherokee Park in August and will announce dates and details on our website homepage cherokeemarsh.org and in our August newsletter.
