Meet at Westport Meadows Park, 4338 Beilfuss Drive. Park on the street. This park is west of HWY 113 and adjacent to Cherokee Marsh–Mendota Unit.
We will be cutting and piling brush. We won't be burning the brush piles unless there is enough snow to put the fires out. No experience needed. Wear old clothes, sturdy footwear, and work gloves. Loppers are provided, but you're welcome to bring your own. Certified chainsaw operators are welcome —bring your own saw and PPE.
