About the event

For this workday, we'll likely do a combination of cutting brush and burning a brush pile or two to keep warm.

Meet at Cherokee Marsh Conservation Park South Unit

5002 School Rd, corner of School and Wheeler Rd by the waste oil dropoff

Tues, Jan 27, 9 am - 12 noon. You don't need to stay the whole time.

Dress for the weather. Sturdy and warm footwear recommended. To help with the burn piles, wear old clothes. Natural fibers are best as synthetics can easily melt.

We'll be working off-trail in areas with down wood and cut stumps, possibly obscured by snow. Volunteers will use loppers to cut brush and will carry cut brush to piles.
