About the event

Register for "Beginning Birding for Families" led by the Feminist Bird Club - Madison Wisconsin. Enjoy a guided bird outing at the Cherokee Marsh South Unit on Saturday, July 27, 9–10:30 AM. You can learn about the nesting behavior of local birds and how they raise their families while you wander the beautiful trails at the marsh. No birding experience is required, and binoculars for youth and adults will be available. All ages are welcome, and children and families are encouraged! Registration is required and spots will go fast.

Cherokee Marsh is the largest wetland in Dane County, Wisconsin. The marsh is located just upstream from Lake Mendota, along the Yahara River and Token Creek.
