About the event

We'll begin with a business meeting to review 2025, look forward to 2025, and elect directors for 2025–2026.

Paul Quinlan from Madison Parks and a representative from Dane County Parks will update us on news, plans, and opportunities in the city and county lands at Cherokee Marsh.

Our featured presentation will be by Becca Dymzarov, Rock River Coalition executive director, who will share insights into the organization’s mission and ongoing work to protect and improve water quality across the Rock River Basin, of which Cherokee Marsh is a part. Becca will highlight RRC’s activities within the Yahara Watershed, including community-based water monitoring efforts that track the health of local streams and rivers. The presentation will feature recent and historical findings from Cherokee Marsh and the Upper Yahara River, shedding light on trends, challenges, and successes in these vital ecosystems.

We hope to see you at the meeting! Doors open at 9, program starts at 9:30.
